Here, we’ll explore the most common elements and techniques used in these compositions, while also providing information on postal regulations. We will also engage in lively discussions about some of the most important artists in the field, exploring their work to gain a deeper understanding of this unique art form. We will create mailart, which will be sent to open calls, exhibitions, or other artists. Join us and discover the world of mailart, while honing your artistic skills and gaining valuable knowledge of this emerging art form.

Tools and supplies will be made available to the trainees. However, it is advisable to bring your own tools and supplies in order to increase productivity.

The tools and supplies to be explored at the workshop are:

. scissors, scalpels and exacto knifes

. miscellaneous papers and cartons

. glues and self-adhesive tapes

. magazines, newspapers, and books to cut from

. markers, pens, and pencils

ALIGNMENT :

1) postage and correspondence;

2) conversation about mail art;

3) view works by renowned artists;

4) create mail art (hands on exploration);

5) exchange of works between participants;

6) submit works for open calls.
